Red Centre Educational Tours
Our Red Centre Educational Program is a powerful, curriculum-aligned journey into the heart of Australia, designed to bring Science, Geography and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures to life through immersive, on-Country experiences.
Travelling through Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park and beyond, students explore the geological formation of Uluru and Kata Tjuta, investigate desert ecosystems and species adaptation, and gain a deep understanding of Anangu culture and Tjukurpa through guided cultural experiences.
Fieldwork across locations such as Kings Canyon and the West MacDonnell Ranges allows students to examine geomorphology, microclimates, and water systems in arid environments, while discussions around tourism and sustainability encourage critical thinking about human impact.
With structured field journaling, data collection and reflective learning built throughout, this program connects classroom outcomes to meaningful, real-world experiences in one of Australia’s most iconic landscapes.

“Our recent Educational Tour to Uluru was an outstanding experience for our primary students, delivering meaningful learning far beyond the classroom. The program was exceptionally well organised, with engaging, knowledgeable guides who brought the landscape, culture, and history of the region to life in a way that was both age-appropriate and deeply impactful. Students developed a genuine appreciation for Indigenous perspectives, environmental sustainability, and Australia’s natural heritage, all while building confidence and independence.”
