Packing List for Your Adventure Educational Tours Program


Packing appropriately will help ensure a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable experience across all Adventure Educational Tours destinations, from the arid landscapes of the Red Centre to the tropical humidity and lush rainforests of FNQ.


Luggage Guidelines

Soft travel bag (maximum 15kg) – required for ease of loading and transport in our vehicles.

Day pack/backpack – for daily essentials and excursions


Clothing

Pack for a range of conditions, keeping in mind Australia’s diverse climates:

Lightweight, breathable clothing (t-shirts, shorts)

Long-sleeve shirts and lightweight pants (sun and insect protection)

Warm layer (jumper or fleece) for cooler mornings/evenings

Waterproof jacket or rain shell

Swimwear


Footwear

Comfortable, broken-in walking shoes or hiking boots.

Sandals or thongs (for downtime/shower use)


Sun & Outdoor Protection

Wide-brim hat or cap

Sunglasses

Reef-safe sunscreen (SPF 30+)

Insect repellent


Personal Items

Reusable water bottle (at least 2L capacity)

Toiletries

Towel (quick-dry recommended)

Personal medications (if required)


Optional but Recommended

Camera or phone for photos

Portable power bank

Torch or headlamp

Notebook and pen for educational activities


Important Notes

Pack light- you will be responsible for carrying your own luggage

Weather conditions can vary significantly between regions, so layering is key.

Specific packing advice will be provided for your individual itinerary
